WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE IS A LEAK
Peachtree Walk After-Hours Emergency Instructions
IMPORTANT: If this is a fire, medical emergency, or a life-threatening situation, please call 911 immediately!
For all other after-hours issues, please follow the instructions below.
WATER LEAKS OR FLOODING
1. Turn Off Your Water Immediately.
If you discover a leak in your unit, please shut off the water in your unit as quickly as possible to minimize damage. The shut-off value is inside your water heater closet.
2. Contact a Licensed Plumber or Remediation Vendor.
Call a professional to assist with repairs and water cleanup without delay. There is a list of commonly used vendors on the “vendors” page of this website.
3. Notify the Peachtree Walk Courtesy Officer.
Call the Peachtree Walk Courtesy Officer on 678-215-5604 to report the issue.
4. Email the Property Manager.
Once the situation is under control, please email Kat Young, Property Manager, at Kyoung@teammgt.com to notify her of the incident.
5. If Other Units Are Affected:
Please inform the Courtesy Officer if you believe any neighboring units may also be impacted. This allows them to act quickly and coordinate water shut-off to other units or the whole stack if needed.
REMINDER: The primary goal during a water emergency is to contain the leak as quickly as possible and ensure a licensed vendor is on-site as soon as possible to begin remediation and repairs.
